Shipping Update: Dominica Container Delay – Booking #NAM7820576
Dear Valued Customers,
We appreciate your continued trust in Caribbean Cargo DC and want to provide a transparent update regarding the Dominica-bound container under Booking #NAM7820576 / B/L OEFL108434, originally scheduled to depart on July 30, 2025. Despite prior confirmation of the container’s scheduled departure, we were informed by the carrier, CMA CGM, that the container was not loaded onto the intended vessel. It remains at the Fort-de-France port in Martinique, due to congestion and limited routing schedules affecting the region.
CMA CGM has now updated the estimated arrival date in Roseau, Dominica to:
- Departure from Martinique: August 9, 2025
- Estimated Arrival in Roseau: August 10, 2025
We understand the inconvenience this delay may cause and are actively working with CMA CGM and Sea Shipping Line to ensure timely updates and resolution. Below is a copy of our shipping partners statement:
CMA CGM Statement : “This delay is due to congestion in the area, and we do not have a lot of schedules right now for that route. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to your business, and appreciate your continued support to Latin America & Caribbean.” — Marsha Brunswick, Customer Service Officer, CMA CGM (America) LLC
We are advocating on your behalf to receive a formal explanation from CMA CGM on their official letterhead, which we will publish once received. Our team is also reviewing internal protocols to minimize future disruptions and improve communication flow. Additionally, affected customers within this shipment to Dominica are being provided the offer in the letter provided HERE.
